Waste Heat Energy Recovery
ePack: Orcan Energy's efficiency PACKs reduce fuel consumption on ships by six to nine percent and ensure a significantly better Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI). Harmful emissions of carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, sulfur oxide and soot particles are substantially reduced.

Orcan Energy products are suitable for all ship types with engines from 500 kW, regardless of fuel type. Waste heat can be extracted from the engine`s exhaust gases and jacket cooling water, but also from a steam or thermal oil circuit. This can be used as electrical or mechanical energy depending on the power level of the selected Orcan Energy solution.
